GoCayman Car Rental does not recognize collision insurance coverage offered by credit cards or overseas auto policies without printed confirmation of its validity for the Cayman Islands. To protect yourself from undue risk, we strongly recommend that you verify your coverage for damages to our rental car, and also for damages or injury to third parties.

Collision Damage Waiver covers damages to our rental car only. Our experience is that many credit cards will provide rental car insurance only for the car rented, however the claim process can be arduous and frustrating. Our TLW (Third Party Liability Insurance) covers damages to other cars and property, apart from the rental vehicle. Based on examining the rental car coverage restrictions for Visa, Mastercard and Amex, we discovered that most credit cards explicitly state that Third Party Insurance is not included.

Yes, we do allow drivers 21 to 24 years to be primary renters. Must have a full license for at least a year. Young Driver surcharge of US$10 per day will apply.
